Inside outside
Plaza de las Carretas, Campana (Argentina)
The title Inside Outside, as an unavoidable circumstance of architecture, refers to the questions of what are the limits (physical and intellectual) that a project can cover and the necessary definition (or predetermined indefinition) of these boundaries between architecture and territory. Limits that may vary depending on the form and approach to the project; and it is in that variation where the interpretation that sets the guidelines to follow arises.
It is proposed to superimpose (in the same way that has happened in reality) the urban project of the Plaza de las Carretas where the possibility of promoting future and new relations in the territory prioritize project decisions, with a small project of character ephemeral, (Hello Wood) that has set its priorities in the use of the material offered by its territory, wood, and (in this case) the experimental search for students eager to consecrate a life experience through construction.
The experience of materializing a project with one's own hands using the wood of the place can be associated with the approach of the individual with the territory, and that is where the urban project will need to be anchored to be able to dialogue and be part of a cultural fabric and a given geography.
