Zamora a singular rural territory.
Strategies to organize small municipalitiesThe Territorial Urban Regulations - NUT ZA -
The rural territory in Zamora offers a complex map in which the needs and demands of the population are intermingled towards a physical and natural environment that must be protected and respected, but which is also the setting for their daily life, on which planning urban planning has to mark the limits and possibilities. They are what we have, what we perceive, the rural structures that we have inherited; how we deal with it will have repercussions on its treatment, on the capacity to accept current and future demands, which constitutes our responsibility towards the future.
The Territorial Urban Regulations -NUT ZA- try to extract the essential, the characterizing of each region, each municipality and each town, what identifies them, from the territorial scale to the next scale; Starting from the movements carried out by its inhabitants, a cartography of trips and occupations of a population that moves is made up, generating differentiated needs between residence, work, leisure and travel time, variables that are incorporated into the planning trying to decipher the keys that allow the organization of a changing space.
Finding the scale in the approach, in the sustained learning of the territory, differentiating what is variable and what remains, the transitions, what gives character to the place, to contribute to the territorial organization of the small municipalities of the province of Zamora.
